Saludos!  This year I teach Spanish 2 and AP 4 Spanish Language and Culture.  I taught for four years in Dallas before teaching at Akins and moving to Austin.  I grew up in Chicago and attended school in Wisconsin for my undergraduate in archaeology.  During my years there I worked in Bolivia excavating a pre-Incan habitation site and I studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain.  I then continued my education in New York for my Masters in Anthropology, where I was able to work in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua excavating a Pueblo-like habitation site from around 1350 AD.  In my free time I like to learn about other cultures, learn new languages (I’m trying German right now), travel, cook, and spend time with my family.
