Green Tech Academy

Green Tech (GTA) is one of seven career-focused academies at Akins High School.  Students in this academy have the opportunity to explore career interests in Veterinary Medicine, Floral Design/Horticulture Science, and our Park Ranger program. GTA provides rigorous classroom instruction through an aligned sequence of courses and provides students with real-world experiences through internships and partnerships with various companies and local government agencies.
