MSgt Madrid entered the U.S. Air Force in 1994 and served as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Specialist on KC-135R, C-17A and F-16 aircraft. In 1998 he transferred into the Texas Air National Guard after honorably completing his active duty enlistment. In 2000, he was selected as a Texas Air National Guard Production Recruiter at Lackland AFB, TX. In 2009, he was selected as the TX Air National Guard Assistant Recruiting & Retention Superintendent at TX Air National Guard HQ, Camp Mabry, TX. MSgt Madrid retired from the military after 22 years of service. MSgt Madrid is a native South Texan and is married with two sons.
