Major: 3 classes that support a field of study or career interest. (You must complete all 3 classes in order to graduate with a Major Chord at graduation. It is possible to double major. Failure to complete the 3 classes in a major will not keep you from graduating from high school. In order to graduate you must complete the required courses on the recommended plan. The courses in a major will count as elective credits on your transcript. )
Capstone Course: The icing on the cake – the capstone course allows the student to deepen his or her experience in their major. (Capstone courses are not required in order for a student to receive a Major Chord at graduation. They are the 4th (suggested) course in the classes that support a field of study or interest.)
